Louisiana Tech has produced several NFL players, most notably quarterback Ryan Finley of the Cincinnati Bengals and wide receiver Trent Taylor of the San Francisco 49ers.

Louisiana Tech Football Schedule
The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs football team will kick off their 2020 season on September 5th, when they take on the Baylor Bears. Following that game, the Bulldogs will face off against Mississippi State and Rice before traveling to UTEP for a conference matchup. As part of their Conference USA schedule, La Tech will face Southern Miss, North Texas, Middle Tennessee State and UAB throughout October and November.

On Saturday, November 21st, the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs Football team earned a hard-fought victory over the UTEP Miners with a score of 28-17. It was an electric atmosphere at Joe Aillet Stadium as the Bulldogs put up 442 total offensive yards and held their opponent to only 233. With this victory, Louisiana Tech notched its 9th win of the season and improved to 9-3 overall.

Louisiana Tech Football Record
The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs football team has had a successful history, having won six conference championships and made nine bowl game appearances. In 2018, the Bulldogs posted an 8-5 record overall with a 5-3 mark in Conference USA play, including wins over No. 14 ranked LSU and Southern Miss. They also notched their second consecutive bowl win that season with a 51-10 victory over Hawaii in the Hawaii Bowl.

Louisiana Tech Football Coach Skip Holtz has been at the helm of the Bulldogs program since 2013. In his seven seasons with Louisiana Tech, Holtz has posted a record of 50-38 and led them to four bowl games. He also won Conference USA West Division Championships in 2016 and 2017 and is one of only two coaches in school history to lead the team to multiple conference titles.
His success on the field earned him C-USA Coach of Year honors for both those years as well.
